Suryakumar Yadav's Hilarious Instagram Post on Dhoni-Dube Partnership Goes Viral

On Monday, five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings finally ended their five-match losing streak in this IPL season and defeated Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets. Chennai started the IPL 2025 campaign with a win against Mumbai Indians, but then lost five matches in a row. However, the team has now returned under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Chennai won the toss and elected to bowl and restricted LSG to 166 runs in 20 overs. Later, chasing the target, he won the match with three balls to spare.
Chasing the target, Chennai was struggling at 111/5. They needed 56 runs off 30 balls when skipper MS Dhoni came out to bat and formed a partnership with Shivam Dube. Surya shared a picture of Dhoni and Dube on his story and wrote a caption with a dialogue from Bollywood's popular biopic MS Dhoni – The Untold Story.

The film "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" was directed by Neeraj Pandey and starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. Talking about the match, Dubey scored an unbeaten 43 off 37 balls while Dhoni scored 26* off 11 balls. Dhoni also won the Player of the Match award and became the oldest player in IPL history to win this award.
Speaking at the post-match presentation, Dhoni said, "It's good to win the match. When you play a tournament like this, you want to win games. Unfortunately, the earlier matches didn't go our way for whatever reason. There can be many reasons for this. It's good to have a win in our favour. It gives confidence to the whole team and helps us improve on the areas we want to improve. We all knew that when things don't go your way in cricket, God makes it a lot harder, and it was a tough match. "
