Viksit Bharat Buildathon: The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog, will organise the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 on October 13th. This is an initiative that provides school students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovative ideas. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has been announced as the brand ambassador of Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, who will inspire students from classes 6 to 12 to participate and showcase their innovative ideas.

Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 Registration: 1 crore student participation

Vikasit Bharat Buildathon will inspire over 1 crore students from over 1.5 lakh schools across the country to ideate, design, and develop solutions under four key themes – Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddh Bharat.
At a press conference, the Union Education Minister stated that the Ministry of Education aims to engage students in grades 6 through 12 in this initiative. “We will inspire every child in the country to think about and contribute towards a developed India by 2047,” he said. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, also shared details of the project on the occasion.
Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 Registration Process

The Vikas Bharat Buildathon began on September 23rd. Students can register from September 23rd to October 6th (https://vbb.mic.gov.in/). Schools will then have preparation time from October 6th to 13th, during which teachers will guide student teams through the portal. Students will then submit their ideas and prototypes to the portal.
Viksit Bharat Buildathon Last Date: More than 1000 winners selected

The main Buildathon event will be held live on October 13. Students will then submit their final entries between October 13 and 31. An expert panel will evaluate these from November 1 to December 31. The Buildathon will conclude in January 2026, when the top 1,000+ winners will be announced and honoured.
