Uttar Pradesh News: The Aam Aadmi Party’s “Give Employment – Give Social Justice” march against unemployment and social injustice in Uttar Pradesh received overwhelming public support on its third day. The march is being led by AAP’s UP in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. March began in Bikapur and reached Kurebhar, where people warmly welcomed the march. Youth, lawyers, women, and elderly participated enthusiastically in the march. Flowers were showered at various places, and people joined in, chanting “Give Employment – Give Social Justice.”
Uttar Pradesh News: Purpose of Padyatra
Sanjay Singh stated that this march was undertaken to secure rights for Dalits, backward classes, exploited, deprived, and to provide employment to the youth. He explained that casteism, inequality, and corruption in Uttar Pradesh have made life difficult for the youth and the poor. He said, “Ramrajya is possible only when every person has equal opportunities and every hand has work.”
Uttar Pradesh News Today: Scathing attack on unemployment and corruption

Sanjay Singh strongly criticized government on the issue of unemployment and corruption. He stated that youth of Uttar Pradesh are not getting employment opportunities and that government job papers are constantly being leaked. Due to irregularities and corruption in recruitment exams, the future of the youth is in jeopardy. He also pointed out that thousands of positions are vacant in major government departments in Uttar Pradesh. For example, Education Department has over 200,000 vacant positions out of a sanctioned total of over 500,000, the Health Department has 50,000 vacant positions out of 1.500,000, and Police Department has over 100,000 vacant positions out of a sanctioned total of 400,000.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh: Discrimination against Dalits and Backward Classes

Sanjay Singh accused UP government of increasing discrimination and violence against Dalits and Backward Classes. He said that reservation scams and biased behaviour in police stations have become common. Also mentioned, that democracy cannot be strengthened until justice is provided to the last person in society.
Youth’s struggle now at a decisive turning point

Sanjay Singh said that youth of UP will not remain silent. This march is the beginning of a fight for employment and social justice, and public’s support is with Aam Aadmi Party, because people know that only AAP is their true voice.
Punjab victory gives impetus
Sanjay Singh also described Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in the Tarn Taran by-election in Punjab as significant. He said this victory is a triumph of honesty and public-friendly policies of Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. This has further boosted the morale of AAP workers.

During padyatra, local Aam Aadmi Party leaders Sabhajit Singh and Manoj Mishra also welcomed Sanjay Singh and participated in the march. The march is now part of a nearly 200-kilometer-long journey that will travel from Ayodhya to Sultanpur, Amethi, and Prayagraj.
