UP Board Exam Student Death: Student who arrived at the Gayatri Public School in Karaunda Naankar, Chilhiya Police station area, located in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, to appear for his Intermediate examination in the second shift on Wednesday. While he felt ill as soon as he reached the examination centre’s gate. People started rushing him to the nearby hospital, where he died. Doctors claims a suspected heart attack. Whereas his family members cremated the body without conducting post-mortem.

Ravi Yadav was 17-year-old, son of Radheshyam yadav, resident of village Babhani, Post Udayraj, Chilhiya police area. He was a 12-grade student, and arrived at Gayatri Public School examination centre for hindi examination, in the second shift. As soon as he reached to main gate of the school, his health started to deteriorate suddenly and he felt being unconscious and fell to the ground.

People by standing their took him to a nearby private hospital, where he was referred to the district hospital. His family members and companions took him to the medical college, where doctors after examination declared Ravi Yadav to dead.

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) will conduct the annual high school and intermediate examinations from February 18, 2026, until March 12, 2026. Both high school and intermediate examinations are being conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, and the second shift is from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.

The first paper of high school (Class 10) examination was Hindi, which was held in the first shift on February 18. This will be followed by examinations for subjects such as Elementary Hindi and Sanskrit on February 19, Social Science on February 20, and Home Science and Sewing on February 21. Examinations for mathematics, science, art, Sanskrit, music, and computer subjects will be completed by the first week of March. The final examination is scheduled for March 12, 2026.
