There were heavy fireworks in Delhi till late night on Diwali day, and after getting permission for green crackers from the Supreme Court, a lot of crackers were burnt in Delhi. This morning Delhi has turned into a gas chamber, and the AQI has reached 551 in Narela and 493 in Ashok Vihar. Please note that an AQI of more than 400 is considered to be at a severe level. According to the Meteorological Department, this morning it may remain cloudy in Delhi, a blanket of fog will remain, and the maximum temperature can remain up to 33 degrees.

Rajasthan Weather Today
In Rajasthan too, the festival of Diwali was celebrated with great pomp and show with lots of fireworks. The sky was filled with the echo of firecrackers and colorful scenes. Meanwhile, the poison of firecrackers was seen dissolving in the air of Rajasthan. Let us tell you that on the day of Diwali, the highest AQI of 383 was recorded in Jaipur, Rajasthan, till 1 am. In many districts, including Bhiwadi, Ajmer, Alwar, Jaisalmer, Churu, Jalore, and Jodhpur, AQI was recorded above 200. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Rajasthan is likely to remain pleasant; there will be a layer of fog, and as the day progresses, bright sunshine will also emerge.
Uttarakhand Weather Today
The effects of the toxic air have been felt as far as Dehradun in Uttarakhand, where the AQI has reached 218. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear in Uttarakhand today, but snowfall is expected in the mountains on October 22. Snowfall along with light rain is expected in Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, and Rudraprayag districts.
Tamil Nadu Weather Today
The Chennai-based Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts of Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, as a low-pressure area is expected to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal between October 21 and 24. According to the RMC, for October 22, the RMC has raised the orange alert in Tiruvallur, Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Villupuram, Ranipet and Tiruvannamalai districts, while heavy rainfall has been predicted in Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai and Tirupattur districts.
The forecast for October 23 has warned of very heavy rainfall in Tiruvallur, Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Ranipet and Vellore, while heavy rainfall is likely in Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai and Tirupattur.
