SpiceJet Emergency Landing: SpiceJet flight SG 670 from Mumbai to Kolkata had to make an emergency landing on Sunday due to an engine failure. The Kolkata-bound plane suffered an engine failure mid-air, and the pilot reported the engine failure to Kolkata’s air traffic control. The plane requested permission for an emergency landing, which was immediately accepted and an emergency alert was issued. Kolkata airport officials said the plane landed safely and the full emergency was lifted at 11:38 pm.

There was panic after the engine of Spice Jet 670 aircraft failed. The aircraft started descending rapidly and a loud noise was heard from the engine due to which the aircraft struggled a lot during landing. Fire engines and ambulance vehicles were deployed at the airport during landing. Despite the engine failure of the aircraft, a safe landing was made and all the passengers and crew members are safe.

SpiceJet Engine Failure: Technical Fault in Plane
All passengers are safe after the plane landed safely. Meanwhile, SpiceJet issued a statement saying that the SG 670 aircraft experienced a technical fault and had to make an emergency landing, and the safety of all passengers is our top priority. An investigation has now been initiated into the technical fault and the cause of the fault is being determined.

Technical Problem in ATC
According to Delhi Airport, at least 400 flights were delayed due to a technical glitch in the air traffic control system. Passengers were advised to check flight status information before leaving for the airport. Airlines assured that their staff were assisting passengers to minimize inconvenience. Air traffic control (ATC) is a ground-based service in which controllers manage and guide the movement of aircraft on the ground and within controlled airspace.
