One or more schools in the city received emails threatening to bomb the school, as well as Shatabdi Express train. According to police sources, Amritsar police immediately responded. This is not the first time schools in Amritsar have received such threats. Similar bomb threat emails have been received several times in the past, and in most cases, the threats were proven false after investigation.
