A video of these student couple from Namo Bharat train went viral on social media in a compromising situation. The incident got national attention after video spread rapidly. Whereas, students belong to the same caste and after this matter came to light, their families arranged their engagement.
Rapid Train Viral Video Case: Video went viral on December 20th
On December 20th, four videos from one to three minutes length went viral on social media. The viral videos were footage from the CCTV cameras that are installed in Namo Bharat train (Raid Train). Videos were from the evening of November 24th and showed that Namo Bharat train is travelling from Ghaziabad towards Meerut.

Students were identifies as the residents of Modinagar area. Whereas both boy and girl are currently studying in different colleges located at Ghaziabad. After matter came to light, due to the fear of social stigma, both families decided to send their students away and families also became isolated.

A close acquaintance of both families said that the boy and girl have been engaged. The wedding ceremony will be completed as soon as an auspicious time is determined. It is being said that only family members will attend the wedding. However, police have denied having any knowledge of such an incident. ACP Modinagar Amit Saxena said that the matter has not come to his attention.
