Rajasthan 150 kg Explosives Seized: Police have seized a large quantity of explosives in Tonk district of Rajasthan. According to reports, police recovered 150 kg of ammonium nitrate from a car. Two youths had brought the explosives in a Maruti Ciaz car from Karwar in Bundi district to Tonk. The police’s DST team arrested the two accused and seized the car. In addition, police recovered 200 explosive batteries and 1100 meters of wire.

DSP Mrityunjay Mishra said that explosive material was being supplied from Bundi to Tonk. Based on the information, a roadblock was set up in the Baroni police station area. During this time, a car was stopped and searched in the Baroni police station area. During the search, approximately 150 kg of ammonium nitrate, hidden in sacks of urea fertilizer, was recovered from the car. In addition, 200 dangerous explosive cartridges and six bundles of safety fuse wire, approximately 1,100 meters long, were also seized.

The arrested accused have been identified as Surendra, son of Bhanwarlal (48), belonging to the Patwa caste, a resident of Karwar police station area, Bundi district, and the other as Surendra Mochi, son of Dulilal (33), belonging to the Mochi caste, also a resident of Karwar police station area, Bundi district.

Regarding this case, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mrityunjay Mishra said that the operation was conducted after receiving specific intelligence.
