A special vaccination camp was organised at Sanatan Dharma Saraswati Bal Mandir, Punjabi Bagh, in collaboration with the Rotary Club, to protect the health of female students. As part of this initiative, 120 girls from the school were vaccinated against cervical cancer. The program aimed to raise awareness among adolescent girls and reduce the risk of this serious disease in the future. The vaccination process was completed at the camp, held on the school premises, with parental consent and medical supervision.
Safe Vaccination in the Presence of Experts
A team of medical experts was present during the vaccination drive, administering the vaccine after a health check-up of the students. Dr. Taru Agarwal and Palak Jindal provided special support during the campaign. They also provided detailed information to the students about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of cervical cancer.
