Pratapgarh Raid Case: According to the Police’s Statement, The raid was conducted at the house of Rajesh Mishra, who is currently in jail. Police arrested his wife, children and two other relative members. Manikpur police in Pratapgarh, recovered over Rs. 2 crore in cash during the raid at a drug smuggler’s house. Police stated that five persons including two women were arrested in the raid and Pratapgarh SP Deepak Bhukar said that Circle Officer, Kunda led the police officials which was assigned to raid the home of drug mafia Rajesh Mishra. A larger amount of drugs and cash were recovered during the raid operation. Police mentioned that approx. Rs 2.15 crore rupees were recovered in cash.

Pratapgarh SP. Deepak Bhukar stated that larger quantity of illegal items and prohibited materials and a estimate of Rs 1 crore were recovered from the spot. The total value of cash and drugs is estimated to be around Rs 3 crore. As per the officials the accuse were identified as Reena, wife of Mishra who is in jail, and daughter Komal, son Vinayak and relatives including Yash and Ajit. 25,000/- were awarded to the police team who conducted the raid.

Bhukar stated that a information was received that fake forms had been submitted for the Mishra’s bail application. The case was found out to be fraudulent when the verification made on the person who submitted the form.

“After the FIR was registered, Police took action and raided the premises with the help of officials named as CO Kunda and the manikpur police station. This raid resulted in the recovery of cash and drugs. Due to the larger amount of cash, the counting approximately took 22 hours.”
