PM Modi in Ayodhya: Ayodhya is set to make history once again today, on November 25th. The festival of Vivah Panchami will be celebrated on this day, and saffron flag will be hoisted atop the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
This is being considered not just a religious ritual, but a remarkable sight reminiscent of the Treta Yuga. According to the Shri Ramcharitmanas, “Bandhan va Pataka Ketu aur Shiv banaye Mangal liye” (Bandhan va Pataka Ketu aur Shiv banaye Mangal liye), meaning the flag itself is a symbol of auspiciousness.
PM Modi hoisted the saffron flag atop Ram Temple during Abhijit Muhurta (time of the auspicious time). The auspicious time for flag hoisting is from 11:52 am to 12:35 pm.

A historic event is witnessed by Ayodhya as Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted a saffron flag atop the Ram Temple which will mark its formal completion. This auspicious day comes after twenty-two months he led the ceremony to install Ram lalla idol. The 10×20 feet flag, featuring the Sun, ‘Om’, and the Kovidara tree, symbolises Lord Ram’s brilliance and courage. The ceremony took place on Vivah Panchami of Margashirsha Shukla Panchami, which symbolises as a auspicious day commemorating the divine marriage of Ram and Sita, which adds spiritual significance to the occasion.

Nearly 7,000 guests attended the event which includes the dignitaries such as RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Large number of invitees were from middle and lower-middle-class backgrounds, backward classes, scheduled castes, and minority communities, which reflects inclusivit. The gathering also included temple workers and donors.

During his visit, PM Modi visited the Saptmandir, Sheshavtar Mandir, and Mata Annapurna Mandir, and performed darshan and offered prayers at the Ram Darbar Garbh Grah and at Ram Lalla Garbh grah. The area of 2.7 acre complex accommodates 14 additional temples, bells, flags, and the spire over sanctum. Ayodhya is beautifully decorated with flowers, lights, rangolis and a laser show for this auspicious occasion.
Very high-tight security arrangements ere placed, with nearly 7,000 personnel, barricades, and digital cameras which ensured safety and well-organised ceremony. This event included flag hoisting which was broadcasted live on Doordarshan, allowing the devotees across the country to be the part and witness this historic moment.
