PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three-day visit to Gujarat. On January 10, PM Modi will participate in the ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’ and attend the ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ regional conference in Rajkot. Officials said that on Monday, Modi will meet German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Ahmedabad, visit the Sabarmati Ashram with him, and participate in the International Kite Festival being held on the banks of Sabarmati River.
Somnath Temple Video: A Symbol of Indian Faith

Minister Jitu Vaghani, while highlighting the historical significance of the Somnath Temple, stated that despite the attacks by Mahmud of Ghazni, the Somnath Temple remains a symbol of Indian faith. When Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, country’s first Home Minister, resolved to restore the temple, the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had made it clear that the temple would not be rebuilt with government funds. Despite this, the Iron Man Sardar Patel, with his unwavering determination, ensured the restoration of the Somnath Temple, which today stands as a symbol of the nation’s self-respect.
Grand Drone Show Organised

He informed that Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the holy land of Somnath on Saturday evening at 5:30 PM. During this time, a meeting of the Somnath Trust will be held, and a spectacular visual display will be presented through a drone show involving approximately three thousand drones. The temple complex has been specially decorated and beautified. He congratulated Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and his entire team and administration for making this wonderful event possible in such a short time.
Jitu Vaghani said that the divine atmosphere created in just five days allows one to experience the energy of Lord Shiva. The 72-hour Omkar chanting is providing devotees with a spiritual experience. He also mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will visit Rajkot afterwards.
PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Thousands to participate in Shaurya Yatra

The minister appealed to the countrymen to participate in this event, saying that this festival is not for any one party or group, but a celebration of the self-respect of all. He invited all political parties and the general public to participate in it. A community kitchen (langar) has been arranged during the event. The Prime Minister will participate in the Shaurya Yatra on January 11 at around 9:45 AM, which is being organised to pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives while defending the Somnath temple.
PM Modi’s Gujarat Visit: Various cultural programs organised
According to officials, a symbolic procession of 108 horses will be taken out during Shaurya Yatra, symbolizing valor and sacrifice. Thousands of people will participate in it. They said that under the ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’ (Somnath Self-Respect Festival), Maharas (a traditional dance), bhajan groups, and various cultural programs are being organised. 32 stages have been set up for this, where artists from 16 states are giving their performances. Various cultural programs are being held continuously from January 8 to 10, showcasing the unity and cultural diversity of the country.
