Pakistani Drone Intrusion: A few drones, suspected to be from Pakistan, were sighted along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Naushera–Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir late on Sunday night, defence sources said. Following the drone sightings, Indian Army troops immediately undertook counter–unmanned aerial systems (UAS) measures. The swift action forced the drones to retreat back across the border, sources added.
“A few Pakistan Army drones were sighted along the Line of Control in the Naushera–Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army troops undertook counter-unmanned aerial systems measures, forcing them to return,” defence sources said.
Pakistani Drone Intrusion: Arms and Ammunition Recovered in Samba District
Earlier on Saturday, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint search operation after recovering an arms and ammunition consignment from the border village of Paloora in Samba district. The seized consignment included:

According to police officials, a total of 16 live 9mm rounds were also recovered from the packet during the operation.
Pakistani Drones Entered J&K
Around 7:15 PM, a drone was also spotted hovering for a few minutes over Chak Babral village in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district. At 6:35 PM, a Pakistani drone was seen flying in the sky near the Line of Control in the Tain to Topa area of the Mankot sector in Poonch district. Alert troops immediately opened fire with medium and light machine guns, and all the drones retreated.

High Alert in Jammu and Kashmir
A high alert has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir, and search operations have been intensified. Following the sighting of a Pakistani drone, the army, police, and security agencies have taken charge, and search operations continued late into the night, with constant monitoring of all activity. Search operations also continued in suspected drop zones, and all standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been activated. A high alert has also been issued in areas bordering the international border, security has been tightened, and army personnel have been deployed at every vantage point.
