Noida Double Decker Bus: Just like Mumbai, luxury double-decker buses are set to roll out on Noida’s roads, promising a more comfortable and premium travel experience for commuters. In a major boost to the city’s public transport system, seven state-of-the-art double-decker buses have arrived at the Noida depot. Designed to enhance passenger capacity while offering modern amenities, these buses aim to make daily travel smoother, more convenient, and enjoyable. Once operational, they will not only ease congestion but also add a touch of luxury to Noida’s public transport network.

To strengthen the public transport system, double-decker buses are being introduced to offer improved services across Greater Noida West, Noida, and Greater Noida. The buses will soon begin operations from the Noida depot. Each bus will have a passenger capacity of 60, though the fare structure has not yet been finalized. Before being opened to the general public, the buses will undergo trial runs. It is expected that while offering better facilities, the fares will remain affordable, making this new service accessible to more commuters.

UP Roadways Regional Manager Manoj Kumar Singh stated that the 60-passenger capacity of these double-decker buses will help ease traffic congestion while offering enhanced travel facilities. Speaking about the route plan, he said the buses will operate along key corridors connecting Noida, Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, and Jewar Airport. This service will provide much-needed direct connectivity for commuters who have long faced a shortage of reliable public transport on these routes.
