Meerut Murder Case: A Woman, Anjali, murdered her husband Rahul after he discovered about her extramarital affair.

In a shocking echo of the infamous blue drum murder case, yet another Meerut woman was arrested for the murdering her husband over a extramarital affair. Anjali was arrested along with her lover who resides from the Agwanpur village, after her husband was found dead in the fields. In beginning, Police suspected this case as robbery. Police said, “But when the officials reached the house of Anjali she was found missing and this changed everything”.

Earlier, the case was suspected of robbery, but the missing wife changed everything, stated by investigating officer. According to the police, initially,  Rahul was found with three bullet wound and his wife, Anjali, a mother of three, had expressed sorrow over his death, but later ran with her lover Ajay, who lived in the same village. Ajay, was missing too from his home. Both of them were eventually traced and detained.

Ajay confessed about the killing of Rahul during the interrogation and revealed that Anjali planned to murder Rahul after he discovered her extramarital affair. Rahul, came to know about his wife’s relationship, and this made Anjali so upset, that she plotted a plan to kill him.” Ajay told during investigation.  According to the police, Ajay carried out the plan by taking Ajay to the open fields and shooting him there with three bullets.

The case is similar to the shocking blue drum case , which was too from Meerut, where Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla, killed her husband Saurabh Rajput in March this year. They terrifyingly chopped his body into four pieces,  sealed the drum ran to the Himachal Pradesh. Muskan later admitted the crime to her family, who informed Police.
