Cylinder blast in Delhi’s Majlis Park injures 13, including Police and Firefighters

Majlis Park Cylinder Blast: An intense fire broke out in a house located in Majlis Park, Outer Delhi area around 9 a.m. today after a cylinder exploded. Total 13 people were seriously burnt in this terrifying incident. Injured people includes eight family members, three policemen, and three firefighter officials.

This house in the Majlis Park area suddenly caught fire at 9 a.m today. Police and fire department officials were immediately informed about the incident. Firefighters arrived at the scene and began trying to control fire, while another cylinder inside the house exploded.

All the injured persons were shifted to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital, after which they were referred to Safdarjung Hospital. Fire has now been brought under control, Police officials present on the incident scene are conducting further investigations.
