Lucky Oberoi Death: Jalandhar in Punjab was rocked by gunfire. Motorcycle-borne assailants shot AAP leader Lucky Oberoi dead, firing five bullets at close range. Oberoi had gone near a gurudwara and was sitting in his Thar vehicle when the attackers suddenly opened fire. He was rushed to Shri Ram Speciality Hospital in a critical condition, but he succumbed to his injuries.

Unknown assailants shot and killed AAP leader outside a gurudwara in Model Town, Jalandhar. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment. The incident has created an atmosphere of panic in Jalandhar city. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, cordoned off the entire area, and started an investigation, examining footage from nearby CCTV cameras. Special teams have also been formed to identify and arrest the attackers.

Lucky Oberoi’s wife had contested the municipal corporation elections on an Aam Aadmi Party ticket but was defeated. Lucky Oberoi was considered close to Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, the in-charge of the Cantt constituency, and played an active role in the party organisation. According to police officials, the investigation into the murder is being conducted from the angles of political rivalry, personal enmity, and other possible motives, and they claim that the accused will be arrested soon.
