The UDF is on the verge of achieving a level of success in recent times, the victory in 2010 when it bagged 48 seats.

The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) also appears to be performing better this time compared to the 2020 local body elections. In Thrissur Municipal Corporation, the Congress-led UDF has taken an early lead, but BJP appears to be rapidly closing the gap, while Left Front’s performance is reportedly weaker than expected.
