Jammu and Kashmir News: The security situation in Jammu and Kashmir remains very serious these days. On one hand, security forces are engaged in operations against terrorists, while on the other hand, the government has initiated strict action against those involved in anti-national activities. Efforts are now being made on two fronts to thwart conspiracies originating from across the border.
Jammu and Kashmir News: Encounter with terrorists continues in Kathua

An encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in the hills of Kathua district in Jammu. A search operation was launched in the area based on intelligence inputs, during which the terrorists opened fire. The police and other security agencies are responding with full force.
It is believed that terrorists associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed organisation may be hiding in this area. The entire area has been cordoned off, and additional security forces have been deployed. Personnel equipped with modern weapons are keeping a close watch on every movement. This area is considered strategically very sensitive, so no chances are being taken.
Lashkar-e-Taiba: Government Takes Major Decision: Five Employees Dismissed
While security forces are fighting terrorists, the government has also taken action against anti-national elements hidden within the system. The Jammu and Kashmir government has dismissed five government employees from their jobs. All of them face serious allegations of having links with and providing assistance to terrorists. This decision was taken in coordination with the Lieutenant Governor’s administration and the state government. The government has made it clear that there will be no compromise on national security and there is no place for traitors here.
Employees from Which Departments Were Dismissed?

The dismissed employees include individuals from various departments. These include a government school teacher, a lab technician, an employee of the electricity department, a forest department field worker, and a driver from the health department. Government investigations revealed that these individuals were providing information, supplies, and other forms of assistance to terrorists. After obtaining evidence, action was taken against them under Article 311 of the Constitution.
J&K Five Government Employees Suspended: Names of the Dismissed Employees
The employees dismissed by government are:
- Mohammad Ishfaq (Teacher)
- Tariq Ahmed Shah (Lab Technician)
- Bashir Ahmed Mir (Assistant Lineman)
- Farooq Ahmed Bhat (Forest Field Worker)
- Mohammad Yusuf (Health Department Driver)
All of them are accused of having contact with and collaborating with terrorist organisations.
Terror Link Dismissed: Zero Tolerance Policy Against Terrorism

A clear “zero tolerance” policy against terrorism is now evident in Jammu and Kashmir. The government and security agencies are not only responding to terrorists at the border but are also working to eliminate internal sleeper cells. The encounter in Kathua and the dismissal of employees clearly indicate that the government is ready to take every necessary step to restore peace. Further stringent actions can be expected in the coming days.
