Instagram friendship honeytrap case: Police has registered a case against the girl and her two accomplices and sent them to jail on orders of the court. Due to the negligence of two constables in case, two police constables have been attached to the line and orders for investigation have been issued against them.
According to the information received from Kotwali CSP Ritesh Kumar Shiv, two cousins from Belkheda befriended a girl named Ragini Sharma on Instagram four-five days ago. Both of them had started talking to Ragini through Instagram for the past few days. Ragini sent a message on Friday saying that she was going to Narsinghpur and had to meet near Mehta Petrol Pump in the evening.
Both cousins reached to meet the girl after she asked, on a motorcycle. The girl, cited for some personal need asked for five hundred rupees from them, which they gave her. After this, the girl engaged them in conversation and took them to her friend’s empty house in the EWS quarters located in Shatabdipuram. During this, the girl also asked for beer, cigarettes and food from the youths.

Meanwhile, two of the girl’s friends, Vivek Tiwari and Sahil Burman, also arrived. The girl threatened to implicate them in a rape case and demanded one lakh rupees. Her friends also took objectionable photos and videos of the cousins. When the cousins refused to pay, the gang members informed the Yadav Colony police station.
The victim informed their senior officers about Incident on Saturday. While a case was registered at the Lardganj police station against the woman who honey-trapped the cousins. Both constables have been attached to the line because of their negligence, and an investigation has been ordered against them. All three gang members were arrested and presented in court. They have been sent to jail on court orders.
