Indigo Flight Crisis: IndiGo Airlines in serious trouble

IndiGo Airlines faced a serious crisis at the beginning of December. Due to new pilot duty regulations, which came into effect on November 1st, there was a shortage of pilots. As a result, more than a thousand flights had to be cancelled on December 5th, including all domestic flights from Delhi. Hundreds of passengers were stranded at airports like Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, luggage piled up, and passengers even staged protests. Meanwhile, other airlines doubled their fares. The government ordered that refunds be completed by December 7th and granted an exemption for night duty. It is expected that the situation will return to normal soon.
