Greater Noida News: Horrific news has emerged from Dalegarh village, within the Dankur police station area of Greater Noida. Three-year old boy drowned in a deep pit and family has been in disorder state, this incident has sparked anger among the family members against the administration.
Anjali came to her parent’s home, Dalelgarh with her three-year old son, Devansh and daughter. She is a daughter of Anil, who resides in Dalegarh, Anjali’s in-laws lives in Secunderabad, Bulandshahr.
Locals claim repeated complaints about open pit went unheard

According to the information, Child fell into a pit while playing. While a feast was organised at the temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Anjali went their with her children and other family members. family was with the on going puja and feast. Meanwhile, devansh a 3-year-old-child was playing with his sister, and slipped away into a deep pit filled with water on government owned land near the temple.
After wards, everyone was searching for the kid, and search was conducted in the temple for a long time. When nothing was found, some people went to the pit. Where villagers saw him inside the pit and were shocked by watching him.
Greater Noida News: Doctors declared him dead

After a considerable time, when the mother could not find the child, a search was launched. The child was searched for at the temple for a long time. When no trace was found, people went to the pit to search for him. When he was not found there either, the family was devastated.
The police were informed of the incident, divers were immediately called, and after much effort, the child was pulled out and taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The incident caused chaos in the family.
Administration faces backlash from grieving villagers
Meanwhile, villagers of Dalelgarh village have expressed displeasure over the lack of a boundary around the pond. They stated that the pond is very old and hasn’t been cleaned frequently, nor has administration provided any boundary or maintenance. They stated that a complaint regarding water-logging in the pond was made to Greater Noida Authority officials on January 4th, but no action was taken. Had it been fenced in time, such a major accident might not have occurred. The villagers are angered by administration’s negligence.

Uttar Pradesh News: What did the authority say about the incident?
Dankaur Kotwali in-charge Munendra Singh stated that police arrived upon receiving information, but the family refused to conduct a post-mortem on the child. No complaint has been filed by the family at this time. An investigation will be conducted upon receipt of a complaint.
After a 3-year-old child drowned in a pit near a temple, an authority team arrived at the scene. The team discovered that the land belonged to a farmer in the village and that it was not a government pond.
