Meanwhile, Galgotia University committed a fraud that has drawn widespread criticism. Now, after the video went viral, the university has issued an explanation.

It’s worth noting that Galgotias University purchased a robot dog from China and proudly presented it as Made in India at the AI Summit. Furthermore, they declared a Chinese robot worth ₹2.50 lakh (approximately $2.5 million) worth of robots worth ₹350 crore (approximately $3.5 billion) as Made in India and named it Orion. This fraud also left no stone unturned in tarnishing the nation’s reputation.

After the video went viral on social media, a representative from Galgotia University spoke to the media and provided information about this robot dog. He said it was named Orion and developed by the university’s Centre of Excellence. This statement exposed the fraud at Galgotia University, while several experts said the robot dog was the “Go2” model from Chinese company Unitri, costing around ₹2-3 lakh. However, the university, at the AI Summit, claimed it was built at a cost of ₹350 crore.

After the video went viral, Galgotias University clarified that they did not create this dog and that the robotic dog was borrowed from the unit to develop new technology for the students. They are also trying to bring the best technology to the campus so that students can learn about new technologies and their capabilities can also be explored. Galgotia University said that they will work on this technology and will soon develop similar engineering and design in India.
