EC Announce Voting Dates: Elections dates announced for 5 states, including Assam, Kerala and Puducherry will be held in a single phase on 9th April. Whereas, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu will head to the polls starting April 23. In West Bengal, voting will take place in two phases with second phase scheduled for April 29. The results for all states will be announced on May 4.
