The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a special traffic advisory for the convenience of commuters, urging people to use alternative routes. Traffic is likely to be severely affected in many areas due to underpass construction, road repairs, and metro construction work.
Heavy traffic expected at Madhuban Chowk
Due to construction work by DMRC, traffic is expected to move in slow pace at Madhuban Chowk intersection today. This work is related to the foot-over-bridge (FOB) which connects the Pitampura Metro Station to proposed Madhuban Chowk Metro Station.
This could lead to traffic congestion in these areas and affect nearby routes:-
- Outer Ring Road (near Madhuban Chowk)
- Lala Jagat Narayan Marg (both carriageways)

Haiderpur Metro Station
Traffic will be affected near Haiderpur Metro Station on the Outer Ring Road due to ongoing underpass construction and road repair work. Heavy traffic congestion is expected on both carriageways.
Britannia Chowk
Heavy traffic congestion is also expected between Britannia Chowk and Rampura Red Light due to underpass repair work. Traffic police have advised drivers to avoid this route and use alternative routes.
Delhi Traffic News: Strict instructions regarding no-parking zones
Delhi Traffic Police has issued strict no-parking orders in the affected areas. Vehicles parked on roadside will be immediately towed away, and legal action will also be taken.
