Delhi Police officials said that several schools in Delhi, including Amity and Birla Vidya Niketan, received bomb threats, after which security at the schools was tightened.

Police officials appealed to the public to remain calm. Following the bomb threats, school premises were evacuated and an investigation is underway. Anti-sabotage teams, bomb disposal squads, local police forces, fire brigades, ambulance services, and PCR teams have reached the affected schools.
They said that the safety of students, teachers, school staff, and the general public is their top priority. All necessary security arrangements have been made and the situation is completely under control.
Police have appealed to the public to immediately inform the 112 emergency helpline or the nearest police station if they notice any suspicious activity or have any information.

In the past few months, schools, colleges, and government offices in Delhi have received similar fake emails and calls. Several such hoax calls were received last year.
