Delhi News Update: AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj strongly criticised BJP government over the Janakpuri incident, saying it was shameful that celebrations were taking place while the victim’s family was still grieving. He questioned why the Chief Minister did not visit bereaved family and asked whether accountability would be fixed against those responsible. Bhardwaj alleged that ministers falsely claimed proper safety arrangements were in place, while no action has been taken so far. He also raised concerns over contractor’s name being removed from the FIR and questioned police handling of the case, demanding transparency and justice for victim’s family.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a scathing attack on the BJP government led by Rekha Gupta, accusing them of celebrating amidst the tragic death of a 25-year-old man who fell into a pothole in Janakpuri. AAP Delhi state president Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the country’s most shameless Delhi government is celebrating today, while the mother of Kamal Dhyani, who died in Janakpuri, is shedding tears.

Rekha Gupta is also a woman and a mother. Kamal Dhyani was like her own son. Can Rekha Gupta look his mother in the eye and talk to her? His pyre hasn’t even cooled yet, and CM Rekha Gupta is celebrating the completion of one year of her government at Ramlila Maidan. We have never seen such a shameless government. Chief Minister hasn’t even met Kamal Dhyani’s family yet. But drums are being played at Ramlila Maidan. How can a woman Chief Minister do this?

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that 25-year-old Kamal Dhyani was going home from Rohini. There was a pothole in the road in Janakpuri that was not visible, with no barricades, and he fell into it. He lay there all night, and it is unknown when he died. The post-mortem report has not yet been released. In most cases, the post-mortem report comes within 24 hours. The post-mortem was done on the morning of February 6th, and today is February 8th, but the report is not coming. It seems that the post-mortem report has gone on leave.

Delhi News Update: AAP questions removal of contractor’s name from FIR

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the contractor’s name has been removed from the FIR, and the Delhi Police are chasing after the labourer. We have heard that the labourer is being apprehended in Uttar Pradesh. What is the BJP government’s relationship with the contractor that they are hesitant to even mention his name, and instead are arresting the labourers? But who will apprehend Delhi government ministers Pravesh Verma and Ashish Sood, who are lying? Pravesh Verma had said that there were barricades every 100 meters, and Ashish Sood had said that all safety arrangements were in place. While in the morning, the deceased young man Kamal’s brother Karan, his family, and friends clearly stated on camera that there was no barricading and it was a completely open field.

Saurabh Bhardwaj questioned whether any action would be taken against these lying ministers who tried to cover up the incident. They tried to wrongly influence the investigation and protect the real culprits. Will a case also be filed against Pravesh Verma and Ashish Sood?

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that it is now mentioned in the police FIR that there was no barricading. The police have gone all the way to Uttar Pradesh to apprehend a labourer named Yogesh. The labourer is being blamed for not informing the subcontractor. According to them, he should be hanged, but what about the six police stations where Kamal’s father, brother, and friends went all night, and not a single one of the six stations even registered their complaint, not even a diary entry?

Instructions ‘From Above’ Behind Missing Reports, Claims AAP

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that if no action is taken against the police stations, it means that the police received instructions from above not to register complaints in such cases. This is done to keep the statistics low, on which the entire government runs. If a girl comes to complain about molestation, she is turned away; if someone goes to file a missing person’s report, they are turned away; and complaints of fights and quarrels are hushed up. This is how the statistics are manipulated.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the reason why reports were not registered at those six police stations, and no action was taken against them, is that proper training was given at the level of Police Commissioner Satish Golcha. All SHOs, constables, and head constables have been told not to write reports as far as possible. Only write them if it is necessary. The first diary entry in the Janakpuri police station FIR is at 8:06 AM, when a call came in that a boy was lying in a pit with his bike.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Satish Golcha tells his SHO (Station House Officer) not to register the complaint, and Satish Golcha is being told the same thing by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. There is no doubt about this anymore. If this were not the case, action would have already been taken against the police SHO or Satish Golcha. But no action has been taken against anyone because it has been instructed at the level of Home Minister Amit Shah that the crime statistics must be kept low.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the BJP’s aim is not to reduce crime, but to reduce crime statistics. Their goal is to reduce the Air Quality Index (AQI), not pollution itself. They want to create a fake Yamuna River, not clean the real Yamuna. This laboratory of fraud started in Gujarat and is now being implemented across the entire country. Fraud in everything, deception in everything, and attempts to run the country by manipulating data – this is what is happening.
