Targeting the Government on Social Media
Kejriwal posted on the social media platform “X” and wrote that Delhi is grappling with pollution. Roads are broken. There are piles of garbage everywhere. Medicines are scarce in hospitals. The Delhi Assembly has summoned me to the gallows to ask questions. I have written to the Privileges Committee informing them that I will be present on March 6th as per their summons. In the interest of transparency, I request the Committee to broadcast the proceedings live.
Demand for Transparency
In his letter and social media messages, Kejriwal repeatedly emphasized transparency and accountability. He stated that in a democratic system, the public has the right to know how the Committee’s proceedings are being conducted. That is why he has demanded live-streaming so that the entire process appears open and fair.
Political Activity Increased After the Liquor Policy Case
Aam Aadmi Party has intensified its political activities after Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia received relief from the court in the recent liquor policy case. Following this decision, the party held a public rally at Jantar Mantar, where Kejriwal targeted his opponents and described himself as “staunchly honest.”
What’s next?
All eyes are now on the Privileges Committee meeting on March 6, where Kejriwal will be questioned. If the proceedings are broadcast live, this matter could become a major topic of political and public debate. This issue is expected to intensify Delhi politics in the coming days.
