Delhi Mahipalpur Blast Rumour: A sound resembling to an explosion caused panic near the Radisson Hotel in Mahipalpur, Delhi. An investigation revealed that sound was produced by a burst in DTC tyre. No explosive device was found. Police stated that the situation was completely normal and there was no cause for concern.

Blast has been reported near the Radisson in the Mahipalpur area of ​​Delhi, the national capital. Police personnel immediately arrived at the scene after receiving information about incident. The caller was contacted, who informed about hearing a loud noise while traveling to Gurugram. Upon arriving at the scene, police found nothing of such sort.

By questioning the locals, a guard stated that rear tyre of DTC bus heading towards Dhaula Kuan had burst, which caused loud noise. DCP of south west confirmed that situation is normal. Police responded immediately after receiving information about the loud noise and began investigating near the Radisson in Mahipalpur. The investigation team found no signs of an explosion or any other incident at the scene.

Police questioned locals to know the reason of noise. A security guard informed police officials that sound was actually caused by a DTC bus tyre which was travelling towards Dhaula Kuan at the time of incident.
