Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also condemned Shah’s remarks and demanded his immediate sacking. “A minister of the BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government has made very derogatory, shameful and cheap comments about our brave daughter Colonel Sophia Qureshi. The terrorists of the Pahalgam attack wanted to divide the country. Yet, the country was united during ‘Operation Sindoor’ to give a befitting reply to the terrorists. She accused the BJP and the RSS of having an anti-women mindset and pointed to past incidents of trolling and harassing women associated with government officials.
