CM Bhagwant Mann’s Japan Visit: A high-level delegation of the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, will visit Japan and South Korea as partners in the Global Partnership ahead of the 6th Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, to be held from March 13 to 15. CM Bhagwant Mann will pay floral tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Tokyo’s Gandhi Park and will also meet industrialists in Tokyo regarding investment in Punjab.

Industry and Commerce Minister Sanjeev Arora and a delegation comprising officials and the Invest Punjab team will visit Tokyo on December 2-3, Osaka on December 4-5, and Seoul on December 8-9 to strengthen economic partnerships, interact with global companies, and extend invitations for the upcoming summit.
Road Show in Japan
The state government stated that Japan visit, meetings, and road show events are being organized with support and facilitation of the Indian Embassy in Japan, Indian Embassy in South Korea, the Ministry of External Affairs, DPIIT in association with Invest India, and the Embassies of Japan and South Korea in New Delhi, whose guidance, cooperation, and partnership have played a key role in shaping the agenda.

During the visit, the state will showcase Punjab’s position as an investment hub of North India, highlighting its strategic location, connectivity to the NCR and major ports, strong industrial clusters, uninterrupted quality power supply, skilled workforce, and progressive policy ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that it is simple and clear that providing policy stability, speed in decision-making, and a governance system that respects the time and trust of investors will make Punjab a preferred destination for global industry. Punjab’s approach is based on partnerships and working closely with industry, understanding their needs, and ensuring that the government becomes a driver of growth.
