Chomu Jaipur Tension: According to the police officials, six people officers were attacked and injured in the violence that erupted in Chomu town of Jaipur district. They have been admitted to a nearby hospital whereas, most of the officers sustained head injuries, but their condition is stable. several police vehicles were also damaged amid this stone-pelting attack.
Reports states that communal tension have emerged from Jaipur, Rajasthan. On Friday, morning (December 26) where a violent clash erupted between rioters and police in Chomu town of Jaipur. This dispute occurred over the installation of an iron ailing outside a mosque. The incident has raised heightened tension in area. Clash occurred around 3 AM near Chomu bus stand, during which several police officers were injured in the stone-pelting and tear was also fired to bring the situation under control.

Following this violence and unrest is created, internet services have been suspended in the area and ban will remain in effected region for 24 hours. Incident occurred early on 26 Dec, Friday around 4:00 AM, injuring six police officers, mostly are injured on head, who were hospitalised in stable conditions.
Several police vehicles were also damaged and this dispute began over stones placed near a mosque, which were removed after a community‑police meeting on Thursday evening. Tension is created when some individuals started installing iron railings which lead to stone-pelting against police officers.

Senior officials said that the situation was brought under control by morning. Police personnel conducted a flag march throughout Chomu to ensure law and order. Additional Police Commissioner Dr. Rajiv Pachar, DCP West Hanuman Prasad, and Additional DCP Rajesh Gupta, along with other senior officials from Jaipur, reached the spot to monitor the situation. The officials appealed to the local residents to maintain peace and harmony.

Additional police forces from Chomu, Harmada, Vishwakarma, and Daulatpura were deployed as the situation escalated. Officers used mild force and tear gas to disperse the crowd, and by morning law and order was restored. Senior officials, including Additional Police Commissioner Dr. Rajiv Pachar, monitored the area. Search operation is also conducted is the area to identify those involved in riot.
Authorities have warned that legal action will be taken against the offenders. Former Chomu MLA Ramlal Sharma confirmed the situation is under control, with internet restored, whereas WhatsApp and bulk messaging remain suspended.
