Bhilwara Kidnapping case: Panic gripped Bhilwara city in Rajasthan on wednesday evening when a young woman was kidnapped in broad daylight, right in front of the SP’s office and bungalow. Perpetrators arrived in a black Scorpio, who forcibly dragged a woman into the vehicle near Collectorate complex and sped away. Police officers present at the scene tried to stop the vehicle, but suspects attempted run over them.
Bhilwara Rajasthan Kidnapping: Incident occurred while returning from SP’s office
According to the reports, this incident took place around 6 PM, on Wednesday, when the young woman had gone to SP’s office as she was concerned due to living in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend and felt that her life was in danger from family side. As soon as she came out of the office after submitting the affidavit, a black Scorpio stopped just 50 metres from the SP’s bungalow.

The family members of boy are alleging that people in Scorpio were from the girl’s side. They also claims that young man and woman had a court marriage, which angered the woman’s family. And due to this anger, woman was receiving constant threats. After sensing this danger woman came to SP’s office to seek police protection.
Attempt to run over police officer
According the eyewitnesses, men got out of the Scorpio while forcibly dragged young woman into the vehicle yet sped away from the scene. ASI Pratap Singh of the special branch (DSB), who was present at the spot when police tried to stop the vehicle by standing in front of it, but the suspects did not stop. They attempted to run over the police by speeding up Scorpio, causing his mobile phone to break while falling on the road. Fortunately, they escaped serious injuries.
Chaos erupts among lawyers and passersby
Two lawyers who were present at the spot also tried to stop Scorpio but criminals ignored them and continued to drive more faster. While fleeing from the scene, Scorpio also attempted to run over a motorcyclist that created panic and fear among the people present in the area.
