Bhagwant Mann’s Japan Visit: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is visiting Japan ahead of his 10-day visit to Punjab. He began his visit by visiting Gandhi Park in Tokyo and paying floral tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. This marked a peaceful and inspiring start to his visit. On the first day of his visit to Japan, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met with several leading Japanese companies and government representatives. The main objective of these meetings was to discuss investment opportunities in Punjab and encourage companies to set up industries in the state.

CM Bhagwant Mann: Japanese companies show enthusiasm for investing in Punjab
Impressed by the Chief Minister’s presentations and discussions, most companies expressed keen interest in investing in Punjab. They saw Punjab as a favourable and rapidly developing state for industrial expansion. The Punjab government assured companies that if they invest in the state, they will be fully supported at every level – whether it be providing land, expediting approvals, or providing any administrative assistance.
Investment will provide opportunities for youth and benefits the state

The Punjab government believes that arrival of Japanese companies will inject new energy into state’s economy. The expansion of industries will create new employment opportunities for youth. This will not only reduce unemployment rate but also enhance the skills and technical capabilities of youth. Furthermore, foreign investment will strengthen the state’s economy, improve its industrial infrastructure, and position Punjab as a new hub for technology and manufacturing.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann assured all companies that the Punjab government will support them every step of the way, from investment to business establishment. He also stated that government is continuously working to simplify and make administrative procedures transparent so that investors do not face any difficulties.
