Bhagwant Mann Visit: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s impacting investment roadshow on the final day of his South Korea visit received a tremendous boost with participation of leading industrial companies, which expressed keen interest in investing in Punjab.
Addressing a conference of business leaders, Chief Minister projected Punjab as a state with stable and transparent governance, fully prepared for future investments. He said that Punjab’s robust industrial ecosystem, reliable and affordable power supply, skilled and hardworking workforce, and easy access to large markets make it a most preferred investment destination. Bhagwant Singh Mann reiterated that Punjab’s governance model is investor-friendly, based on efficiency and complete support throughout the business cycle.

Chief Minister said that Punjab’s vision is driven by technology, innovation, and mutually beneficial relationships with South Korea in priority sectors. Reaffirming Punjab government’s commitment to welcoming South Korean companies, he said this will foster innovation-driven industrial growth, long-term relationships, and mutually beneficial partnerships. Bhagwant Singh Mann said there are immense opportunities in manufacturing, technology, food processing, and research sectors.
Sharing his vision, Chief Minister expressed the state government’s commitment to creating a prosperous future through strong economic and cultural ties. He said Punjab is known as a land of courage, hard work, entrepreneurship, creativity, and strong community spirit. He added that Punjab has always played a pivotal role in India’s development, especially in making the country self-reliant in food production. Chief Minister also highlighted the state’s governance and regulatory reforms, including Fast Track Punjab Single Window System, which encompasses 173 services, auto-deemed approvals, PAN-based business identifiers, and amendments to Punjab Business Rights Act, enabling time-bound in-principle approvals. He also shed light on Punjab’s industrial infrastructure and stated that ground investments worth over ₹1.4 lakh crore have already been secured through Invest Punjab. During the event, Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that his vision is simple and clear – to make Punjab a preferred destination for global industry by offering policy stability, speed in decision-making, and a governance system that respects the time and trust of investors.
Chief Minister said that Punjab’s approach is based on partnership and working together with industries, understanding their needs, and ensuring that the government acts as a catalyst for growth. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab has strengthened its infrastructure, expanded its industrial capacity, and opened new avenues for investment. He added that partnership between the government and industry is the key to success, and the state government firmly believes that industrial development is only possible when both sides work as equal partners.
Punjab extends “red carpet” to investors, aiming to boost industrial growth
The Chief Minister invited investors to participate in the 6th Progressive Punjab Investor Summit, to be held at the ISB Mohali campus from March 13 to 15, 2026. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this summit will showcase Punjab’s progress, bring together leading industrialists, and present new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations. He reiterated that the Punjab government is fully committed to further promoting industrial development in the state and will leave no stone upturned in this regard.
Encouraged by the “red carpet” treatment extended by the Chief Minister, South Korean companies showed keen interest in investing in Punjab. Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed hope that such investments would not only create employment opportunities for the youth but also further accelerate the state’s economic growth. He also assured the South Korean investors of complete support and cooperation from the state government on all fronts and said that further boosting industrial development in the state is the need of the hour.

The Chief Minister said that this impressive investment roadshow in Seoul is part of his international outreach to forge deeper economic partnerships with South Korea and attract investment to the state. He added that the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from corporate leaders, financial advisers, research and development organisations, trade associations, and members of the Indian and Punjabi community in Korea. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the roadshow attracted senior representatives from South Korea and a wide range of international organisations, including Bloomberg, BRICS India Trade Private Limited, leading law firms Kim & Chang and Shin & Kim LLC, Korean Association of Senior Scientists and Engineers, KOTRA, Daeyang Corporation, Gawon International Company Limited, TagHive, Punjabi Association of Korea, and Inmac Global, among others.
The Chief Minister said that their participation demonstrated a strong interest in exploring business opportunities, partnerships, and deeper ties with Punjab. Assuring the business community of complete facilitation and a supportive business environment, he extended a warm invitation to South Korean industrialists to participate in the Progressive Punjab Investor Summit 2026.
