Baghpat Accident News: A horrific road accident took place on the Hindon River bridge in Thana Jani area on the Meerut-Baghpat border of Uttar Pradesh at around 4 am on Tuesday. A Maruti Ignis car fell into the Hindon River after being hit by a speeding unknown vehicle, killing two people including a head constable on the car on the spot, while three others were seriously injured. The police were informed about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police and local people reached the spot and after rescue, pulled the injured out of the river and sent them to the hospital for treatment.
Baghpat Accident News: Two died including a head constable
The accident occurred in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, when an unknown vehicle struck a police team’s private car. After the collision, the car went out of control and fell into the Hindon River. Two people in the car, including Head Constable Rahul Chaudhary, died in the accident. Another police officer and two private individuals were seriously injured. The injured were immediately admitted to Anand Hospital in Meerut, where they are undergoing treatment. According to doctors, Constable Kaushal and a private individual remain in critical condition.
Hindon River Accident: Police was returning after investigating a case
It is reported that at the time of the accident, Baghpat police team was returning from Meerut after investigating a case. The deceased, Head Constable Rahul Chaudhary, was posted at the Dola outpost in Baghpat district, and the car involved in the accident is believed to be his. Police have prepared a Panchnama for both victims and sent their bodies for post-mortem examination, while the cause of the accident is being investigated.
