Arvind Kejriwal News: Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on PM Modi and Amit Shah over the acquittal of all accused in the alleged liquor scam. He said that the liquor scam was the biggest political conspiracy in independent India to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party. “I have earned only honesty in my life, and today the court has also declared that Kejriwal is staunchly honest.” He said that PM Modi and Amit Shah hatched a political conspiracy to gain power in Delhi. They should apologise to the country. He added that the court did not even consider the case worthy of prosecution. “Modi knows that the public considers Kejriwal staunchly honest, so he attacked my honesty,” Kejriwal said.
In a press conference at AAP headquarters today, Friday, with Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia, MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj, and former MLA Durgesh Pathak, Arvind Kejriwal said that the BJP has used the term “liquor scam” extensively in Indian politics for the past four years. Everyone knows how, for the past four years, the ED, CBI, and other agencies have been used to level an allegation of a liquor scam against us. The CBI and ED filed a charge sheet in the case. Today, the court had to decide, prima facie, whether there was sufficient evidence and witness statements to prosecute the case. The case had not yet begun.
Arvind Kejriwal News: What did Kejriwal say about the 600-page order?
Arvind Kejriwal stated that in its nearly 600-page order, considering all the evidence and witnesses, the court stated that there was not enough evidence or witness statements in the case to even prosecute. Had the case been prosecuted, it would have dragged on for 15-20 years, numerous witnesses would have been called, evidence would have been presented. What would have happened after that is a different matter. The court stated that this is such a petty, fake, useless, and false case that it cannot even be prosecuted. This is the court’s language. This order is a historic one.
“A conspiracy was hatched against us”
Arvind Kejriwal said that this entire conspiracy was hatched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Today, both of them should apologise to the entire nation. They conspired together to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party, to ruin it. As part of that conspiracy, they hatched the biggest and most heinous conspiracy in independent India. They knew that the BJP could not defeat the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. Modi knew that the people of Delhi were very happy with the work of AAP. He saw that they were nowhere in Delhi based on the politics of work. That is why they hatched this conspiracy.
Arvind Kejriwal said that the public knows that Kejriwal is honest. Therefore, Modi and Shah thought of attacking Kejriwal’s honesty. The public knows that the Aam Aadmi Party is honest. Therefore, they said that the Aam Aadmi Party’s honesty should be attacked. They conspired to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party and claimed that Kejriwal was dishonest. They spread lies that Kejriwal committed a liquor scam, that Kejriwal embezzled money, and that Kejriwal embezzled 100 crore rupees.
I have earned only honesty, not money, in my life – Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal further said that I have earned only honesty and respect in my life. I have not earned a single penny in my life. I am not like these people. Today, after the court order, it has been proven to the country that Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Durgesh Pathak, and the entire Aam Aadmi Party are staunchly honest. Now, Kejriwal is not going to be able to handle Modiji – Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal said that Modiji filed so many cases against us, unleashing the ED, CBI, police, and Income Tax Department on us. Modiji sent five of the Aam Aadmi Party’s top leaders to jail. There was a time when the five top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party were in jail together. Yet, Modiji could not harm Kejriwal. Now, Modi has only one way to deal with Kejriwal: he will have to have him killed. He will have to have Kejriwal killed. He will no longer be able to handle Kejriwal. He has tried everything, and now he will have to have Kejriwal killed.
Modi will have to work to eliminate Kejriwal: Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal said that there is another way, but it is beyond Modi’s power. I built 500 schools in Delhi; Modi should build 5,000 schools. I improved Delhi’s roads; Modi should improve the roads across the country. Then, no one will even bother about Kejriwal. I built hundreds of Mohalla Clinics; Modi should build 20,000 Mohalla Clinics. Modi is the Prime Minister of the country; he should do good work. But he cannot do that.
Our families have suffered because Modi-Shah lusted for power: Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal further told Prime Minister Modi that it is only Modi and Amit Shah’s lust for power that has led to this conspiracy. I am very young, and our family has suffered a lot. I went to jail. My mother is very ill; she had to be hospitalized, and she cried a lot. Manish Sisodia’s wife suffers from multiple sclerosis. When the case was going on in the Supreme Court, Justice Sanjiv Khanna also said that it is a very serious disease. Her lower body is not functioning, and the disease is gradually worsening.
In one year, the BJP government has ruined Delhi: Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal explained that our families have suffered a lot, but that is not important. We are not important, and neither are our families. But who will compensate for the consequences of Modi and Amit Shah’s conspiracy that Delhi, the 30 million people of Delhi, are facing? Go anywhere in Delhi today, and all the roads are broken. Medicines have stopped being available in hospitals, and Mohalla Clinics are being closed. Schools are in a bad state. Pollution has increased throughout Delhi to levels never seen before. The people of Delhi are bearing the brunt of this conspiracy: Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal said that the 30 million people of Delhi have borne the brunt of Modi and Amit Shah’s lust for power. Go and ask the people of Delhi. He challenged Modi, saying, “If Modi has the courage, he should hold another election in Delhi. If the BJP wins more than 10 seats, Kejriwal will quit politics. The people of Delhi are fed up with the BJP.”

I was silent until I was proven innocent: Kejriwal

When someone calls me dishonest, it matters to me. When I am sent to jail, and my family is taunted, it matters to me. Kejriwal cares. Kejriwal reached the party headquarters after a road show
Following the court’s decision, Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference at the party headquarters at 4 p.m. As he arrived at the party headquarters, a large crowd of leaders and workers gathered at his residence. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said the CBI special court’s historic decision dismissing the alleged Delhi Excise Scam case is a resounding slap in the face of the Modi government. These agencies have completely compromised their professional integrity to serve their political masters. They are shamelessly pursuing a political agenda. The comments made about the CBI in the excise case clearly show that strict action must be taken against those who have so defamed the country’s premier investigating agency.
The court’s decision has completely exposed Modi’s BJP, as well as the Congress. It was the Congress that initiated this fabricated case with fictitious allegations. It was handed over to the BJP under a secret agreement to politically destroy the Aam Aadmi Party.

Reading the verdict, it becomes clear that the henchmen of the BJP’s top leadership proved to be extremely incompetent. They were tasked with destabilising the Arvind Kejriwal government by fabricating massive lies. Delhi LG VK Saxena and his close associate, former Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, will have no shame for their malicious actions even today. But their bosses should understand that this team was extremely mediocre. The lies they presented to the CBI did not even cross the threshold of being cognised in court as a charge sheet.
The court’s decision emphatically clarified that no quid pro quo occurred. There was no attempt to benefit any entity or individual. There was no evidence linking then-Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to any wrongdoing. The court’s decision also holds a mirror to the media, which, without any investigation, propagated the lies peddled by central agencies for years. The media created fictitious headlines about bribe amounts, policy changes, and favours to certain groups. Today, all of these lies have fallen flat.
