It seems as if the government believes that medals come from speeches and advertisements, not from hard work in the field.
The situation doesn’t end there. Coaches working in sports nurseries haven’t received their salaries for 10 months, crippling the entire sports system. When the coaches themselves are under financial stress, how will the players receive proper guidance and training? But the government is silent on this, as if this is a problem in another state. Anurag Dhanda also criticised the government on the issue of the elderly. He said that the Haryana government cut the pensions of 75,000 elderly people, and shockingly, farmers’ pensions were stopped by calling the price of their crops “earnings.” Farmers who have toiled in the fields all their lives are being punished in their old age by being told they no longer deserve a pension. This is not just a policy failure, but an example of inhuman thinking.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh’s image is now being portrayed as one who is unconcerned with the real issues of the people.
