Anurag Dhanda Slams BJP: Aam Aadmi Party’s National Media Incharge Anurag Dhanda launched a scathing attack on the BJP government in Haryana and the policies of Chief Minister Nayab Singh, saying that the state is now completely following the “funny CM model,” where the suffering of the public, the future of athletes, and the lives of the elderly have been left out of the government’s agenda. Haryana, once considered a symbol of sports and hard work, is now becoming synonymous with the plight of athletes, pension cuts, and administrative insensitivity.

Anurag Dhanda said that it is shameful that 37,000 athletes in Haryana have not received their diet allowance for the past year, and the government is shrugging it off by calling it a routine administrative decision. Those athletes who won medals for the country are now struggling to afford food and nutrition. Sports nurseries are closed, training has stopped, but this is not a major issue for Chief Minister Nayab Singh. It seems as if the government believes that medals come from speeches and advertisements, not from hard work in the field.

The situation doesn’t end there. Coaches working in sports nurseries haven’t received their salaries for 10 months, crippling the entire sports system. When the coaches themselves are under financial stress, how will the players receive proper guidance and training? But the government is silent on this, as if this is a problem in another state. This is why Haryana’s athletes feel cheated today.

Anurag Dhanda also criticised the government on the issue of the elderly. He said that the Haryana government cut the pensions of 75,000 elderly people, and shockingly, farmers’ pensions were stopped by calling the price of their crops “earnings.” Farmers who have toiled in the fields all their lives are being punished in their old age by being told they no longer deserve a pension. This is not just a policy failure, but an example of inhuman thinking.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh’s image is now being portrayed as one who is unconcerned with the real issues of the people. Athletes are hungry, the elderly are running around offices for pensions, and farmers are feeling insulted, yet the Chief Minister appears to be maintaining an “all is well” attitude. This is why he is being labelled a “funny CM” on social media and among the public, as the government is taking even serious problems lightly.

On the contrary, the Aam Aadmi Party has proven that if the intentions are clear, the system can be changed. In Punjab, world-class stadiums, timely allowances, respect, and facilities are being provided to athletes. The Aam Aadmi Party believes that athletes are not a burden, but the pride of the state; the elderly deserve respect, not pity; and farmers are not just a statistic, but the backbone of the economy.

Anurag Dhanda clearly stated that the BJP government in Haryana is not paying attention to the public’s problems, and that is why the Aam Aadmi Party will raise these issues from the streets to social media. This fight is for the rights of athletes, for the respect of the elderly, and to save the soul of Haryana. No matter how “chill” the government remains, the public is now asking questions and will not rest until they get answers.
