According to media reports, the explosion took place in Vetalaplem village while workers were manufacturing firecrackers. At the time of the blast, more than 20 employees were present inside the factory, raising serious concerns about further casualties. Emergency services and local authorities have rushed to the site to manage the situation, provide medical aid, and investigate the cause of the explosion.
