AAP Slams BJP in Haryana: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Media In-Charge Anurag Dhanda on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Haryana BJP government, alleging that the state’s recruitment system has come to a complete halt. Addressing a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club, Dhanda said the future of Haryana’s youth has been “plunged into darkness” due to stalled recruitments, court disputes, and deliberate administrative loopholes.
AAP Slams BJP in Haryana: Anurag Dhanda Compares Haryana and Punjab
Dhanda contrasted Haryana’s situation with Punjab, stating that the AAP-led Punjab government has provided over 60,000 government jobs since 2022 without any paper leaks or court stays. He claimed that not a single recruitment process in Punjab has been derailed, while Haryana’s job system has “collapsed entirely.” According to Dhanda, the Haryana government’s claim of providing two lakh government jobs is misleading. He said:
-
Only 1.2 lakh positions have actually been filled.
-
Around 25,000 Group D candidates were promoted to Group C, leaving those vacancies open again.
-
20,000–25,000 posts across departments are stuck in court cases.
-
50,000 government employees have retired in the last 11 years, but new recruitments have declined sharply.
He claimed that ultimately only 20,000–25,000 youth have genuinely received jobs, contrary to the government’s assertions.
AAP Slams BJP in Haryana: Assistant Professor Recruitment Raises Questions

Citing the recent recruitment for Assistant Professors in English, Dhanda said that although 613 posts were advertised, only 151 candidates cleared the written exam. These candidates, he said, include NET-JRF toppers, gold medalists, and faculty members in top institutions. He questioned why the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) failed to award even 35% marks to many qualified candidates. He added that more than 3,000 posts remain vacant in state colleges and universities, but the government delays recruitment and then fills less than half the advertised positions.
Dhanda alleged that the Haryana government has intentionally created a complex and flawed recruitment system where even candidates who pass exams are unsure of their future. He said loopholes are left deliberately so that processes get stuck in legal battles, delaying appointments for months or years, causing “grave injustice” to the youth. He even criticised the government for:
-
Allowing candidates from other states to apply without domicile requirements
-
Removing Haryana General Knowledge (Haryana GK) from examinations
Dhanda claimed this is an attempt to “push Haryana’s youth aside” in favour of outside applicants.
AAP Slams BJP in Haryana: Demand for Transparency in CET Group C Results
Dhanda accused the government of hiding data on CET Group C qualifying candidates. He challenged the BJP government to publicly disclose the number of candidates who passed the CET Group C main exam. “If the BJP government is honest, let them reveal how many candidates cleared the CET Group C exam,” he said, alleging that the data is being concealed to hide a “job theft” scheme.
Warning Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Dhanda said the youth of Haryana will no longer remain silent and will stand up for their rights. He said resentment against the current system is rising and the government should be prepared for a strong response from the state’s young population.
