Aam Aadmi Party News: Saurabh Bhardwaj raised a series of sharp questions targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party government, asking why BJP ministers and police allegedly tampered with the Janakpuri death-pit crime scene, how many private schools actually refunded hiked fees and why their audit reports remain hidden, and why AQI data was allegedly manipulated by spraying water at monitoring stations. He also questioned the spending of crores on artificial rain despite it being unfeasible in Delhi, the delay in restoring jobs of 10,000 bus marshals, alleged moves toward privatisation of government hospitals, and demanded to know who ordered the creation of a “fake Yamuna” and the cutting of the main water supply line to divert water into it.
Saurabh Bhardwaj grills CM Rekha Gupta over Janakpuri death, crime-scene tampering
On Saturday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj posed a dozen sharp questions to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta regarding the BJP government’s one-year failures and demanded answers. He asked why government ministers lied about the death of a young biker in Janakpuri after falling into a pothole dug on the road, claiming that all safety measures were in place. He questioned why the death was due to government negligence. Why did ministers and the Delhi Police tamper with the crime scene? He also demanded answers to questions related to the fee hike in private schools, the fake Yamuna, and unemployed bus marshals, among other issues.
Saurabh Bhardwaj stated on X that he questioned Chief Minister Rekha Gupta: “Why did her government create a fake Yamuna?” Why was the filtered water main for the fake Yamuna opened to bring water to the fake Yamuna? Who gave the official order to cut the main line and bring water to the fake Yamuna? He asked why the AQI monitoring stations were closed on Diwali night? Why was the real AQI data manipulated by using water sprinklers?

Saurabh Bhardwaj further asked how many private schools have refunded their increased fees to parents? Why are private school audit reports not being made public despite government promises and court orders? What collusion exists between the Chief Minister and Bharat Arora, and how will the Chief Minister explain this? Bharat Arora is also the Chairman of the Private School Action Committee and the head of the BJP’s academic cell.
Saurabh Bhardwaj asked why money was spent on artificial rain when central government experts had opined that it was impossible to create rain in Delhi? Why have the jobs of 10,000 bus marshals not been reinstated despite the BJP’s promise? Why is the government privatising government hospitals built at the cost of thousands of crores of rupees?
Saurabh Bhardwaj asked why government ministers and the Delhi Police covered up the crime scene at the Janakpuri ‘death pit’? The poor labourer was arrested, but why hasn’t the main contractor been arrested? Also, why has no action been taken against the six police stations that failed to register the victim’s family’s complaint? Why hasn’t the Chief Minister visited the victim’s families? The people of Delhi want clear answers on all these issues. They demanded that the Chief Minister answer these questions in detail.
