Aam Aadmi Party News: Aam Aadmi Party’s national media in-charge, Anurag Dhanda, levelled serious allegations against the BJP government in Haryana. He stated that the Rs 1,500 crore work slip scam in the Labour Department is the biggest betrayal of poor labourers. He stated that an investigation into the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board revealed that out of approximately 6 lakh work slips, 5.46 lakh were found to be fake, indicating irregularities in over 90 per cent of the cases.
Haryana News: Fake workers received benefits
Anurag Dhanda revealed that out of 2.21 lakh registrations investigated, only 14,240 were found to be genuine. Benefits such as maternity benefits, educational assistance, and scholarships were claimed in the names of fake workers, amounting to Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh per person. At the same time, genuine labourers remain deprived of the benefits of government schemes.
Anurag Dhanda Attacks BJP: Chief Minister changed, but BJP’s character remains unchanged

He said that from 2014 to 2024, Manohar Lal Khattar and then Nayab Singh Saini served as Chief Ministers, but despite the change in leadership, the BJP government’s corrupt character remained unchanged. From Khattar to Saini, scams were not an exception but an integral part of the administration.
More than 20 Major Scams in 11 Years
Anurag Dhanda alleged that more than 20 major scams have surfaced in Haryana in the last 11 years. In many cases, CAG reports, court observations, ED and vigilance investigations, and registered FIRs confirm losses worth thousands of crores of rupees.
Mining Scams Devastated the environment and government treasury
He said that the biggest scams have been in the mining sector. Illegal mining in Nuh district resulted in losses of over Rs 2,000 crore. More than 80 crore tons of mining were carried out in the Aravalli hills. Illegal mining in the Dadum area of Bhiwani resulted in losses of approximately Rs 1,200 crore, and a landslide in 2022 claimed the lives of 7 labourers. According to the CAG, illegal mining and royalty evasion in the Aravalli region resulted in losses exceeding ₹5,000 crore, while the NGT imposed a fine of ₹66 crore. In Yamunanagar, more than 860 FIRs were registered in 2025 regarding illegal mining, but no strict action was taken against the mafia.
Paddy Procurement Scam
Anurag Dhanda stated that a major scam also occurred in paddy procurement in the name of farmers. FIRs registered in 2025 in several districts, including Karnal, revealed that 24,431 quintals of paddy, worth approximately ₹6.31 crore, disappeared from the records of a single mill. Fake gate passes and paddy from other states were used to show procurement at MSP (Minimum Support Price), resulting in an estimated total loss of over ₹4,000 crore.
Recruitment scams ruin the Future of Youth

He said that the biggest injustice to the youth of Haryana has been through recruitment scams. Between 2014 and 2024, more than 20 scams came to light, including those related to HTET, HSSC, HPSC, and police recruitment. More than 29 FIRs were registered, and several exams had to be cancelled. In 2025, a case of cheating 77 young people through a fake recruitment website also came to light.
Debt Increased, No Development Seen
Anurag Dhanda said that the impact of these scams is clearly visible in the state’s economic condition. By 2024-25, Haryana’s debt had increased to approximately ₹3.78 lakh crore. The question is, where did all this money go? Neither schools improved, nor hospitals, nor did farmers’ incomes increase, nor did the youth get permanent employment.
Aam Aadmi Party News: Allegations of Mafia Rule
He said that from Khattar to Saini, the BJP government has transformed Haryana into a state ruled by the mafia, where action is taken against small employees, but big leaders, officers, and the mafia are protected. This is why the scams have continued to increase instead of stopping. AAP’s Demands: Impartial Investigation and White Paper
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded an impartial investigation, under the supervision of the CBI or the High Court, into the mining, labour, paddy procurement, recruitment, and other major scams that have occurred since 2014. They also demanded the implementation of a transparent mining policy to protect the Aravalli hills and rivers, and the release of a white paper on the state’s debt of ₹3.78 lakh crore.
AAP Stands with the People
Anurag Dhanda said that the Aam Aadmi Party stands firmly with farmers, labourers, youth, and the common people. This fight is not just for power, but to free Haryana from corruption and plunder. The BJP government must answer when this mountain of scams and debt, accumulated over 11 years, will finally end.
