Delhi Metro to start early for International Yoga Day on June 21
Sharing information on social media platform 'X', the DMRC said that metro trains will be operated at an interval of every 30 minutes from 4 am till the services start as per the regular time-table. The objective of this decision is to ensure timely access of people to the venues of yoga events.

The special thing is that this time the preparations are being seen in a more comprehensive and organized form. From the central government to the gram panchayats, efforts are being made to make yoga accessible to the masses. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has made special arrangements on the occasion of Yoga Day. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that it will resume services from 4 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, as against 6 am on normal days.

Yoga Day will be celebrated in every village
This time a special initiative has been taken to take Yoga Day to villages. The Government of India has also planned to organize yoga programs on a large scale at the panchayat level. Gram Panchayats across the country are preparing to make Yoga Day historic by connecting people in their respective areas.
In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had written a letter to all the village heads of the country and requested them to motivate people in their areas for active participation in Yoga Day. After this appeal, preparations are in full swing in many gram panchayats. Mass yoga camps are being planned at various places so that more and more people can join the ancient Indian practice.
