Ankita Bhandari disappeared from Vantara Resort in Yamkeshwar on September 18, 2022. Her body was found six days later, on September 24, by the SDRF in the canal at Chilla Power House Intake. Pulkit Arya, Saurabh Bhaskar, and Ankit Gupta were apprehended and imprisoned in connection with the case, with Pulkit being identified as the primary suspect. An SIT team led by DIG P. Renuka Devi was established to solve the case.
