India implements unified command structure for Armed Forces

India's Armed Forces embrace unified leadership

Summary

With the implementation of the Inter-Service Organization rule in India, now an officer will be able to take action against the soldiers of the three armies. This new law will lead to the restoration of a commander in chief who will control all soldiers. This change will remove bottlenecks in operations and simplify administrative tasks.

In India, officers can now take action against soldiers from all three military branches. The Inter-Service Organization rule has been enacted as of May 27, according to the Modi government.

This new regulation allows for the appointment of a commander-in-chief through the Inter-Services Organisation, who will have the authority to act against soldiers from any of the three armies and play a role in their oversight, regardless of the soldiers' military affiliation.

Here are 3 changes from the new rules...

With the implementation of the new regulation, any service officer, including those from the army, will have the authority to lead soldiers from other services, such as the Navy or Air Force, who are part of inter-service organizations.

First: Earlier such rights were limited only within the concerned service. This often led to obstacles in the operation, as the officer of the Navy could command only naval soldiers.

According to the new regulation, every soldier linked to the Inter-Service Organization will be under the command of an officer. This officer will be granted administrative authority, allowing them to make decisions regarding any military personnel.

Previously: the Old Testament was created taking into account the specific working environment of a particular service. In such a situation, administrative action required the soldier to be sent back to his original service units. This not only took more time, but also cost money due to the movement of the jawan.

3. Discipline Now: The new rule helps to unite the soldiers of a unit or establishment. In such a situation, when there is a case of indiscipline, it can be decided quickly.

Earlier: If there was indiscipline at any place, then for that one indiscipline case, proceedings were held at three different places. When proceedings were conducted in three different places, it is possible that the outcome was also revealed in three different ways.
