Sharif referred to the local technology and Chinese jets used by the Pakistan Air Force, but confirmed that the Indian missiles hit their targets.

"On May 10 at around 2:30 pm, General Syed Asim Munir called me on the safe line and informed me that Indian ballistic missiles targeted Nur Khan Airbase and other areas. Our Air Force used domestic technology to save our country, and they also used modern gadgets and technology on Chinese jets.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself has admitted that General Asim Munir called him at 2:30 pm and told him that India had bombed Noor Khan Air Base and many other places. The PAK PM was woken up in the middle of the night with news of attacks inside Pakistan. The Indian Armed Forces targeted the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the killing of more than 100 terrorists belonging to terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen.
