Initially, sketches of the terrorists were released, followed by posters. Currently, these posters have been displayed at various locations in the Shopian district to expedite their capture. Additionally, details have been requested regarding three terrorists connected to the terrorist incident.

Following the terror incident in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, authorities declared a Rs 20 lakh reward for those who provide information about the terrorists responsible. It was assured that informants' identities would remain confidential. On April 23, the Jammu and Kashmir Police offered a Rs 20 lakh reward for details that could help in apprehending the perpetrators.

26 people were killed in the terror attack on this tourist destination of Pahalgam, known as 'mini Switzerland'. Most of the dead were tourists and men. After this, the Anantnag Police said in a post on its Ex-handle, "A reward of Rs 20 lakh will be given to anyone giving information leading to the elimination of terrorists involved in this cowardly act." Also, the identity of the informant will be kept secret.

These were the code names of the terrorists.

Shortly before the announcement of the reward, security agencies had released sketches of three people suspected to be involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. Officials had then said that these 3 suspects were from Pakistan. Their names are Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. According to the agencies, the three terrorists also had 'code' names – Musa, Yunus and Asif.
