PM Modi: India to respond to Pakistani Bullets with Bombs
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given clear instructions to the armed forces to respond with full force to cross-border firing and shelling, saying that "if there will be a bullet, then there will be a shell" from here, sources said on Sunday. He said that Operation Sindoor is not over yet and India will respond to every Pakistani bullet fired from across the Line of Control (LoC) with a bomb. He said that the Prime Minister has said that enough is enough, "If there will be a bullet from there, then the shell will run from here." (If they open fire from there, we will respond with bombs). He said that the turning point was strikes on air bases.
"If they shoot, we will shoot, and if they attack, we will attack," he said. The sources also spoke about India's stand on Kashmir and said the country does not need anyone's mediation and the only issue left is the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
"Our stand on Kashmir is very clear, only one issue remains - the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Other than that, there's nothing to talk about. If they talk about handing over terrorists, we can talk. I have no intention of anything else. We don't want anyone to mediate. We don't need anyone's mediation," sources were quoted as saying. Following the agreement between India and Pakistan to cease hostilities, the Indian Air Force reported that the tasks assigned to it in Operation Sindoor have been completed with "precision" and "professionalism".
He further explained that the operation is still going on and has not ended. According to his post on 'X', a special briefing about this will be held in due course. The IAF also urged everyone to avoid speculation and spread of unconfirmed information. "The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully executed its assigned tasks in Operation Sindoor with precision and professionalism. The operations were conducted in a deliberate and discreet manner with national objectives. Since the operation is still ongoing, detailed information will be given when the time comes. The IAF urges everyone to avoid speculation and dissemination of unconfirmed information", the IAF posted on X.
