The Commissioner instructed all divisional departments to finalize preparations by April 25 to ensure the successful execution of the Char Dham Yatra.

Following the meeting, he assessed the current progress on the state highway and the quality of the patchwork. He instructed the district administration to locate some dharamshalas and night shelters in the Srinagar area where needy pilgrims could receive free assistance. He also directed that all water points along the yatra route be kept functional and public toilets maintained clean. Commissioner Garhwal asked DM Garhwal to carry out a survey and provide a report on the condition of rural motorways in the district..

Regarding the quality of asphalting and pothole-free works going on on motorways, he inspected the quality of asphalting between Pauri-Devprayag on State Highway-31 and the quality of patchwork near Dwaridhar Gaushala. He instructed the PWD officials to complete the remaining works of asphalting at the earliest.
